Saw IV
Saw IV explains a lot of things that were left dangling in the first three parts. There is plenty of gore, a lot of scenes that shake you up, but the element of fear that the first three parts had was missing in this one. No sleepless nights, fear of the dark, or other usual symptoms after watching a horror flick. The focus of the movie was to extend the trap legacy of Jigsaw, and thus was somewhat lacking in horror. I was disappointed, as I expected something much more terrifying.
What is more disheartening is that they plan to make Saw V and VI, even after Jigsaw is dead. Saw IV’s sluggishness should have taught them a lesson.
