RutSum crosses the 1 lakh pageviews mark

Was going through my bookmarks today, and somehow stumbled upon Google Analytics, something that I haven’t touched in ages now. And was surprised to see that RutSum had crossed the 1 lakh pageviews mark a long time ago. Currently, the figure stands at over 1.5 lakh, and the unique pageviews are just above 80,000, which I feel is a really good number. It feels good to know that people actually land here on my site, and spend time over here (2 minutes is the average time a user spends on RutSum).

A thing that I thought was worth mentioning here is that even though the majority of the traffic comes from search engines, in recent times, referring sites have also become a significant contribution to the traffic. Earlier, this number was around 8-10%, but now, it is over 23%. I think this is the direct result of all the time that I’ve been spending outside the blog, on social networking sites and forums.
