FrostWire is a peer-to-peer file sharing program for the Gnutella and BitTorrent protocols. FrostWire is written in Java, and is a fork of LimeWire, another popular Gnutella client. Released under the GNU General Public License, FrostWire is free software.
KTorrent is a BitTorrent client written in C++ for KDE using the Qt user interface toolkit. It is maintained in the KDE Extragear.

Pidgin is free software. It is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2. This means you are free to use it and to modify it, but if you distribute your modifications you must distribute the modified source code as well.
I know this would disappoint most of you, but I do not use Mozilla Firefox anymore. I used it for a couple of months in 2006, but gave it up for the world’s best and fastest browser, Opera. Opera is free (free as in beer), but not open source (free as in freedom).
