Hack Challenges
OK, we have the book week just around the corner, at school. Ankur has been working hard for Hackslash, a competition mocking various online hacking practice sites, like hackthissite . I have been visiting miscellaneous hacking challenge sites since then. I found some cool challenges at corruptcode and hack4u.
At hack4u, I’m stuck at a cryptography level, which says this -
3GHR KDUDK HR DMBQXOSHNM A@RDC
8NT MDDC SN VNQJ NTS SGD /@RRVNQC
.MBD XNT G@UD SGD “.11$”3 /@RRVNQC DMSDQ HS ADKNV
3GD /@RRVNQC HR +@VM,NVDQ”NCD
I used an online Caesar Bruteforce decoder, Yellowpipe Encryter/Decrypter, which decoded it to something like this (rot-1) :
3HIS LEVEL IS ENCRYPTION B@SED 8OU NEED TO WORK OUT THE /@SSWORD .NCE YOU H@VE THE “.11$”3 /@SSWORD ENTER IT BELOW 3HE /@SSWORD IS @WN,OWER”ODE
The last few words seem to say – “The password is LAWNMOWERCODE”. I’m damn sure that this is the password. Tried both cases. But no success. Damn. Great! I’m stuck at a level since 11 hours at a stretch now, and this stupid site has no help, or forums at all. Darn it.

Hi
Same Problem since 8 hours (every day 4 hours)… First of all sorry for my bad english, iam german
ok… i decode the message with pencil and paper
My Decoded Message is:
Page-Title: hack4u – The Code of Kings
———————————————–
Headline: Lawnmowercode
This is the code of kings created by Lawnmowerman
This level is encryption based
you need to work out the password
once you have the correct passwort enter it below
the passwort is lawnmowercode
————————————————
It seem the message have special characters like:
@ = a
3 = t
/ = p
8 = y
. = o
, = m
” = c
1 = r
$ = e
+ = l
* = k
i have tried to enter every logical pissibility, complete decode of password like “+@VM,.V$1″.c$” or only “lawnmowercode” or copy + paste the string of the coded message. Nothing is working.
Did you found the solution now?
Please answer
