Google PageRank Updated

Google rolled out yet another PageRank update today morning. RutSum has been updated from a PageRank of 0 to 3. I think this is an achievement, since the age of this domain is only 3 months and 4 days, and that I did not purchase any links, or involve myself in rigorous SEO techniques. Though PageRank is not of much importance anymore in Google rankings, but still it is a number and it makes you happy to learn that somewhere, a datacenter thinks that your website is worthier than millions of other websites on the internet.

Hash was updated from a PR2 to PR3. I have no idea how Google came to like this one. Hash is almost dead, and is struggling to survive. Maybe Google likes people who do nothing but rant.

The Goofy Express got updated from PR3 to PR4. This, according to me is a direct result of inter linking between his website and other fellow Indian bloggers, such as |=Dead End=|, Jabberwockyâ„¢, Relections and What ho!.

Badger Alert!, too, surprisingly was awarded a PR3. I would attribute this to a few select high ranking links, and original and authentic content.

In all, this update was a surprise for almost everyone. I think that would mean that nothing would change in the rankings. How did Google surprise you?
