Digit Sent Me a Free Seventh Anniversary Edition DVD

Don’t know where those guys got my address and phone number, but they recently sent me a Dual Layer DVD with some pretty awesome stuff on it. I remember being a member on the Digit Forums, and also picking up a few copies of the Digit from a local news stand, but I never gave out my addres to them in any way. Hell, they even have my latest landline number, which I got changed a few months ago. Anyway, at first I thought it was just a mass mailed DVD, and then later I thought that it would contain an anthrax virus, but then I saw my name, complete address and phone number on the packet. I opened it up to find a normal looking DVD.

Though it contains the usual crappy free stuff that magazine DVDs contain, a surprise was that they included PDFs of all their previous editions ever published and also of their famous Fast Track series. The Fast Track series is a compilation of pretty nice 10 minute guides to common tech related topics. In addition to this, it has 7 free movies, and 7 complete music albums, which are also free.

Trivia : The packet in which the DVD was delivered said ‘Microsoft DVD’.

  1. But digit Customer care has gone down the drain,
They won;t reply even after repeated attempts.
    Very bad!

  2. No wonder they said “MS DVD”, MS has a DVD cover ad (If i can read it correctly – Its promoting the ‘Imagine Cup’)
