Dev.D Is The New Shit – I Absolutely Love You Anurag Kashyap

Remember when I said that Bollywood movies are crap? I take that back, because since Kashyap has been around the block, we have had absolutely stunning movies, one after another – Black Friday, No Smoking, Aamir, and now Dev.D. The movie received a lot of publicity by using the mantra “any publicity is publicity” – the reference to the obscene MMS scandal that involved a Delhi school girl. That was the reason that most people watched the movie. Why did I watch the movie? Because of Kashyap.

You sir are the most amazing Indian filmmaker that exists today. You do not give a crap to Yash Raj and Karan Johar and their gay parade. And that is one of the things that I love about you. You have a die hard fan, who promises to watch all your movies with dedication. Keep up the good cinema. And ya, kudos to Danny Boyle too, and amazing cinematography.

To those who have not seen the movie, get a life. Aren’t you guys tired of watching the stupid love stories that make it to multiplexes every Friday at your local cinema hall? Its time for a little fun, time to change the definition of cinema. Go to the theater, and see the movie, trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
