Delhi Metro degrades it’s manners?

All those who have travlled in the Delhi Metro alone, at least once in their lives, must have gone crazy waiting for their station and hearing the dumb tapes blabbering out, “Kripya darwazon se hatkar khade hon“, “Please stand clear of the doors.

Well guess what, the Delhi Metro authorities noticed that people just don’t listen when you ask them politely. So instead of getting new tapes recorded, they stripped off all the ‘please’s and ‘kripya’s from their recorded tapes, without touching any of the other content. What they don’t know that the Delhi crowd is already immune to the vocal frequency of the chic whom they got their tapes recorded from.

A much better way to get Delhites to listen is to fine them on the spot. Like they did for pedestrians crossing the roads from railings, and people breaking traffic rules.
