[...] This time I was there to get warranty for my Logitech Mini Optical Mouse Plus. It recently stopped working while I was wrapping its cord. It came with a 3 year warranty, so I decided to get it fixed. I got to know that Rashi Peripherals is an authorized service provider for Logitech in India. In fact, Rashi Peripherals handles after sales service for a lot of companies such as Sony, Altec Lansing and others. If you read this blog regularly, then you would know that this is not my first visit to Rashi Peripherals. The last time I was there, I was turned away with an unsatisfactory after sales service experience (I went there to avail warranty for my Altec Lansing ‘Behind-The-Neck’ Headphones).
Heresy! How *can* you mention iBall and Creative in the same breath! :p They're miles apart. Altec Lansing is superb when it comes to 2 channel normal speakers (nobody else gets that right), and Creative (along with Logitech) are good for 5 / 7 channel normal speakers. When it comes to headphones though, I find Seinheiser the best. Yes, you wouldn't have got a mic for the same price level, but sound quality is better.

I have no idea about earphones. I suggest you post this on a relevant tech/hardware forum. There you would get responses from people who know quite a lot about sound equipment.

Hi,

I am also looking to buy new Earphones(not headphones).
My Old earphones that came with my SE Walkman Phone (HPM-70) have given up. But its 3.5" connector is still working fine, hence I can connect any standard 3.5" pin earphones to it. I really loved the in-ear concept of HPM-70 which definitely enhances the hearing experience.

Please suggest which earphones are best in terms of sound quality, durability and value for money.
