NIT Kurukshetra is above average or you can say best in north india OR you can say best in upper India but if you will ask me then I must say that this is the best engineering college. One more reason why it is the best because I also spent my time in this college.

Yeah !

NIT Kkr is not the best ……..but still u cant categorically say which is the best NIT

I fell …….except top 5 none is worth

1. Trichy
2. Surathkal
3. Kurukshetra
4. Warangal
and there is a contender for 5th

5. Allahabad ( although not very sure )

I feel the government stands to convert these NIT into some institution like IIT’s ……..

I dont know why the government is setting up new IIT’s , when there are shabby things in age old NIT’s

Except Hostel, u will find everything comparable to IIT’s in NIT’s

I don’t know much since I haven’t been to any and have not been researching enough. But from what I know, Trichy and Warangal are the best ones

Wrong. It is almost universally agreed that NIT Trichy is the best of all NITs. Though NIT Warangal or even Surathkal could be a candidate. But no way NIT Kurukshetra.

@sneezy melon: dude, i came to delhi when i was 6 months old, shifted to noida when i was 5 years old, completed my school education in noida, and u refuse me to call a delhiite? we might even have seen each other in some IT event or quiz (i m achyuth sanjay, i was from DPS Noida, and was even invited to the pan delhi quizzers meet, which i cdnt attend bcoz i live in indirapuram)! i m just saying that the misconception of urs that people of delhi are so hi-fi or that those guys that don’t have access to “whizz-bang” stuff from the west suck, is well………a misconception. we r not gonna live our whole lives in delhi, and we WILL hv to go to other places, and believe me, telling a 6 foot JAT that his toilet stinks(literally), is not quite ur idea of a wisecrack.
